1. Questions about Yajutang
1.1 Can I visit Yajutang?
Yes, you can!
In addition to our online shop for self-produced Chinese furniture, we run a warehouse sale in Düsseldorf Reisholz with more than 1000 square meters of exhibition space. You are invited to visit us at:

Parking spaces are sufficient to pick-up furniture and accessories for house and garden.
1.2 Since when does Yajutang Möbel GmbH exist?
Yajutang Möbel GmbH was founded in 2008 in Germany.
1.3 Where did the furniture come from?
The production facility for our solid wood furniture is located in China in the province of Shanxi (Beijing). The company Yajutang originates from our local carpentry and furniture manufacturer, which is still in family hands today.
From the processing of the wood blanks (usually elm wood) to the final painting work, all work steps are carried out in-house.
1.4 How are our furniture made?
The production is divided into the production of reproductions on the model of classical Chinese furniture, such as the Chinese wedding cabinet. At the same time, we restore antique original pieces from the surrounding regions, which can be up to 100 years old.
Common to all furniture is the classic production method in tongue and groove technology with simultaneous gluing. The construction is usually from a solid frame and lighter wood fillings.
Our furniture is hand-crafted so each item is a one-off piece.

2.1 How can I cancel an order?
If you want to cancel an order, please first inform yourself in our cancellation policy about your rights and obligations. Your resignation must be made in writing in any case. Please use for your withdrawal the following PDF-template. In case of doubt, please contact us in advance.
2.2 How can I complain about an order?
Despite all care - mistakes can happen.
If our goods do not meet your expectations or are delivered damaged, please contact us and inform us immediately. Complaints must be decided on a case-by-case basis. We promise to do our best to bring about a quick and satisfactory solution.
3. Delivery & Shipping
3.1 Self pickup
You come from near Dusseldorf? Best!
Come and visit the shop of Yajutang Möbel GmbH in the heart of Düsseldorf. It is worth it!
As a self-collectors, you will not only benefit from our already very reasonable manufacturer prices, but will also receive a self-pickup discount of at least 10%.
It is possible to park directly in front of Dusseldorf's most beautiful showroom for Chinese furniture and to load your new piece of jewelery in the car or on the trailer. We are happy to assist you if necessary.
3.2 Delivery costs
Delivery address in Germany
The shipping costs in Germany are always included - no matter how many items you order, no matter how big the items are, no matter how hard: you pay no Euro in addition to the stated item price!
Pallet goods / abroad
The dispatch of large articles to other European countries, including Switzerland, takes place on half-pallet or Euro pallet for the price of 189 € or 219 €. plus. For deliveries to non-EU countries, additional customs duties, taxes and fees apply
Transportable
Small items up to 30kg we ship via DHL parcel service. The costs vary according to weight and are different for Switzerland and other European countries.

3.3 Delivery times
Packages
Articles up to 30 kg are sent via parcel service (DPD). Upon receipt of your order, the item will be prepared for shipping and i.d.R. on the following working day on the way.
- From the order date, the total delivery time is approx. 2-4 working days
Shipping orders
Large items and orders over 30kg will be shipped by freight carrier. The collection takes place i.d.R. 1-2 working days after receipt of your order.
- From the order date, the total delivery time is about 3-5 working days
4. Custom-made furniture
4.1 How does ordering bespoke furniture work?
In short, you tell us what you imagine - we will make you an offer and customize the furniture for you, if you accept it and make a down payment.
Experience has shown that it is helpful for both parties if you choose something as similar as possible from our range and tell us in which areas you would like a different version.
This concerns usually the dimensions and your desired color, but also the fittings and the design (number and type of shelves, drawers, doors, etc.).
Basically, we always try to implement all your individual wishes.
4.2 How long does it take to deliver my furniture?
Your furniture will be manufactured according to your specifications and wishes in our furniture joinery in China. After completion, it will arrive in Europe with the next Container and will be delivered to Dusseldorf.
The overseas containers arrive about every 6-12 weeks.
This means: depending on whether your piece of furniture already comes to us in the next delivery or is included in the following container, the production and delivery time is at best 6, in the worst case up to 24 weeks.
On average, please expect about 12 weeks delivery time. This roughly corresponds to the delivery time for a series product in a German furniture store.
4.3 What can be individualized?
We are not committed to specific change options and treat our customers' ideas individually - we are happy to realize everything that is feasible.
Custom made furniture usually includes customizations in one or more of the following areas:
- dimensions
- material
- colour
- painting technique (accurate or shabby)
- type and position of the Beschöge
- functional design (size and design of doors, drawers and compartments)
- ornaments (painting, carvings, etc.)
4.4 What information does Yajutang need for an offer?
In addition to your wishes for the piece of furniture that you can discuss with us in peace, we need your name and address to prepare an offer. You are also welcome to tell us your email address and a phone number for any queries.
